Issues of diversity, equity and inclusion are consistently central concerns in development and peace building. Featuring authors from Untapped Power: Leveraging Diversity and Inclusion for Conflict and Development, a just-released edited volume from Oxford University Press, this roundtable will bring together scholars and experts focused on advancing equity and inclusion in different stages of development and conflict resolution efforts. Discussion will examine experience from around the world, considering how specifically diplomacy, conflict resolution, justice sector and security sector development efforts benefit from a focus on equity and inclusion, and how movements for inclusion affect and are affected by efforts to advance security and prosperity globally.
